The Mt. Washington Elementary PTA would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us to make a difference in the education and quality of life for our children. Our membership dues are just $10.00 a year.
Many people do not realize where our fund raising dollars go. Our school district supplies us with limited funding for materials and teachers' aides. The PTA helps supplement the funds needed to assist the teachers in the classroom. We help with library books, health care, school supplies and assist in activities and after-school projects.
You can join the Mt. Washington PTA simply by filling out the attached envelope and send it back with your child along with your membership dues. Children may ask parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to join the Mt. Washington PTA. Our goal is 100% family membership.

- There's no better way to know what's happening in your school. The Association Meetings are an opportunity for you to share information with other members. Because PTA is a forum for exchanging ideas, you are encouraged to make suggestions. PTA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at the school.
- Mt. Washington PTA organizes hard-working and dedicated volunteers. Parents are ready and willing to help implement school improvement programs.
- Resources and programs developed for parents as well as students are provided.
- By volunteering with Mt. Washington PTA, you gain valuable experiences. It's an opportunity to put your skills and hobbies to good use for a good cause-for your child and all the children in the community.
- By getting involved at the school, you'll be a part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Mt. Washington PTA plays an important role in fundraising to provide building improvements, curriculum-based programs and social events-all vital to our school's success.

PTA Digital:
This community print portal launched in April by Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and Hewlett Packard allows students, parents and faculty to easily and cost-effectively create and print customized merchandise for school and home. On the site, you will be able to create your own personalized photo and print products such as customized calendars, graduation invitations, photo books, and fundraising merchandise.
This initiative builds upon the success of the PTA Video Store (www.ptavideostore.com), powered by HP, that allows families to access and purchase age-appropriate movies and television content in a safe and secure online environment. Visit ptadigital.com.
