Welcome to Friends of Mt. Washington

The Friends of Mt. Washington School is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization whose mission is to raise funds and obtain donations to support educational, student, enrichment, and capital improvement programs for Mt. Washington Elementary. It is also the Joint Use Partner with the State of California and LA Unified School District for the community use of the Jack and Denny Smith Library and Community Center.

The Friends of Mt. Washington School (FOMWS) will be hosting its 5th Annual Auction themed "A Night in New Orleans" on April 17th, from 6:00 -11:00 p.m. at the Women's 20th Century Club in Eagle Rock. The event will feature a silent and live auction, live band "Bonne Musique Zyedco", as well as Cajun cuisine and wonderful items to bid at our "Bayou Boutique." Tickets will be sold for $20 pre-sale or $25 at the door.

You can help us solicit donations! Download all the necessary forms you need, print from home and off you go! You can even sign-up to solicit specific businesses in your area from our Silent Auction Tracker link below!

General donation inquiries can be addressed to Anvi Kevany at joeanvi@yahoo.com. Donations can be mailed to the school or dropped off in the Parent Center M-F from 8:15 - 10:00 a.m. by March 26th.
